What are the differences between being a civilian attorney and a JAG attorney?

Question by Viv: What are the differences between being a civilian attorney and a JAG attorney?
I am a civilian attorney currently, but I am thinking about joining the JAG Corps. What are the differences in practice? In the civilian world I have a secretary who types all my documents, answers the phone, and keeps the office running. Is there the equalivant of a secretary for a JAG lawyers? How does the office run? Do the lawyers do more of their own paperwork? That's fine by me if they do. I'm just wondering.
