I would like to know whether the US and Australia have some inexpensive online law schools.

Nothing in the US, there are some online law schools, but to my knowledge none of them are ABA (American Bar Association) accredited which means a law degree from these schools is worth as much as the paper it is printed on. To practice law in the US you have to pass the bar exam in the state you wish to practice and all but California require a law degree from an ABA accredited law school. Furthermore, California requires to take their bar that if it was not an ABA school then it has to be accredited by California's state bar, and none of the online schools are.
